Muslim Police Race Row Lawyer is Convicted Conman

Author Following on from yesterdays story about Yasmin Rehman, the Muslim police officer who is suing the Met for racial discrimination, it has been revealed that her lawyer is a convicted conman with dubious legal qualifications. Dr. Shahrokh Mireskandari, who will be representing Yasmin Rehman in her case against Scotland Yard, is also the lawyer for the other high profile Muslim police officer shouting racism, Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur. To complete his rather heavy work schedule, he also represents yet another Muslim officer whose main duties seem to be taking Scotland Yard to task over their alleged racism, Commander Ali Dizaei. Yasmin Rehmans case is the fifth to be brought against the Metropolitan police by ethnic minorities claiming race discrimination and campaigners claim that many more cases are being prepared. Reaping the benefits is Dr. Mireskandari, the £750 an hour official solicitor on employment issues for the National Black Police Association.
